Route 1 Yingshui Karst Cave

Yingshui Cave is situated on the hillside of Tong Hill of the southwest of Wuhan City. The cave gets its name from the Ying River. It is 5000 meters long and takes about 150 minutes to explore. The cave is a new scenic spot near Wuhan city and opened to public in 2008. It is the most visited cave in Hubei Province and described as "Art Palace of Nature". Inside the cave are a large number of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, and stone flowers. These glisten in a broad array of colorful lights, providing a truly splendid view. Each formation is given names according to what they look like.
